Accounting & Finance Club provides a platform for students to learn about how an accounting degree/skills can be used in different career fields. Both accounting and non-accounting majors are welcomed to join the club and benefit from great opportunities such as hearing from experienced accounting professionals and visiting local firms, along with participating in community service opportunities such as volunteer tax return work. Additionally, members will benefit from hearing about CPA and/or CMA certification requirements.

Alpha Chi is a National Honor Society. Membership is limited to juniors and seniors of good character who rank in the upper 10 percent of their class. P.R.I.S.M. recognizes the various shades of its members’ sexualities and works to unite gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and heterosexual individuals. It provides a safe, interactive forum for its members through educational, social, and community service programs.

The Society for Human Resource Management is an officially chartered student chapter of the national professional organization. Sponsored by Delaware SHRM, the organization provides a forum for those students interested in HR careers to learn more about opportunities in the field and to begin networking with professionals. For those general business students with an interest in human resources, membership in SHRM provides a forum to discuss and learn the importance of HR issues and challenges in any organization.

The purpose of the Student Athlete Leadership Academy is to represent the student-athletes’ voice on the campus of Goldey-Beacom College. In addition, it exists to promote good communication between the student-athletes, athletic department administration, coaches and other staff. Also, having responsibility to actively encourage student-athlete involvement in campus and community events. The Academy provides leadership workshops and programs for student athletes to develop beyond the team.
