GBC’s Career Services staff, located in the Joseph West Jones Center, provides both students and alumni with a wide variety of programs designed to develop their professional skills and achieve their career goals.

Digital Collections

This site contains the Institutional Repository, also known as faculty portfolios, Student Portfolios, and Institutional Archives, which contains images, documents, ledgers, ephemera related to the history of Goldey-Beacom College from 1886 to the present.

Academic Accommodations

Students that have had an IEP/ 504 Plan, or that have a medical diagnosis that limits their educational ability are eligible for reasonable accommodations. These students are supported by the Advising Office, which offers a variety of support options and services that help you succeed in your academic career!

Veterans Resource Group

The Veterans Resource Group (“VRG”) supports our Active Duty, Veterans, and Service members’ families here at GBC. We discuss military relevant topics, like veteran benefits, and share resources available that support our military students. All veterans, service members and families are welcome, as well as students interested in the military. We meet monthly during the common hour on Thursdays.

Organizations across the country are trying to leverage the new developments in AI. This talk will discuss the use of AI in business management situations, particularly in marketing and analytics. The speaker will discuss recent practices of using AI for managing business, analyzing data and gather intelligence in the business world. The speaker will also discuss concerns about AI, including AI replacing human workers, increase of AI-dependency and threats to credibility.
