Widener University, Delaware Law School

Goldey-Beacom College has an articulation agreement with Widener University, Delaware Law School. This agreement provides two pathways for students to pursue law school. The 3 + 3 Early Admission Program allows students to earn a bachelor’s degree and a J.D. in only six years, instead of seven, saving time and money by completing your law degree with your first year of law school simultaneously counting as your last year of undergraduate study. The Express or Guaranteed Admission program provides admission to students who have completed a bachelor’s degree program prior to law school enrollment. For more information, prospective students should speak with their Admissions Representative. Currently enrolled students should speak with their Academic Advisor or Career Services.

Delaware Technical Community College

Through the Connected Degree program, Goldey-Beacom College and Delaware Technical Community College have partnered to offer transfer students a smooth transition. The established connected degrees clearly outline the first two years of study at Delaware Tech and the following two years of study at Goldey-Beacom, thus allowing associate degree graduates to transfer to Goldey-Beacom College as a junior. Students are required to complete specified courses at both institutions, achieve the appropriate GPA, and apply for admission to Goldey-Beacom College. For more information, students should speak with their Delaware Tech program advisor or Admissions Representative at Goldey-Beacom College.

Students must submit proof of education benefits and approval from EdAssist to the College’s Business Office. I came to Goldey-Beacom because of the three-plus three program – you can get your law degree in six years as opposed to the normal seven to eight – but GBC’s affordability was also a huge reason. I knew that I was going to have to pay for school by myself, and I also knew that this wasn’t going to be my last degree. The merit scholarship was literally a game-changer. I was able to come to GBC and graduate and have no student debt attached to my name. And now I’m getting my master’s and still have no debt.
