Affording GBC

For over 120 years, Goldey-Beacom College has taken pride in offering students an affordable, private education.  Compare our costs to those of other private four-year colleges and you will see why Goldey-Beacom College stands out - current tuition and fees are approximately a third less than the national average of other four-year private colleges!

It is the goal of the College to make education affordable. The College offers a wide variety of academic and merit scholarships, and generous financial aid is available.  Our staff will assist you in applying for all federal, State, or institutional aid for which you might qualify.  We understand how intimidating forms can be, and our financial aid staff will ease you through this process. Over 65% of our students receive some sort of financial aid to complete their education.

Many employers offer very generous tuition reimbursement plans, paying a significant portion of an employee’s tuition bill for successfully completed coursework. The College also offers convenient payment plans that may also help budget your tuition payments.

Application Fee

A $30 application fee is required when the student submits an application for admission to Goldey-Beacom College. The application fee is not refundable.

Acceptance Deposit

A $150 acceptance deposit is required when the domestic student is officially accepted into a program of study at Goldey-Beacom College. The acceptance deposit is applied toward the student's total tuition cost upon registration. International students should refer to the Admissions Procedures for International Students.  Since course scheduling and final registration may not be completed until the acceptance deposit has been paid, the student is encouraged to submit the deposit as soon as possible to ensure a place in each of the courses desired. The acceptance deposit is not refundable after May 1st for the Fall semester. All deposits must be received no later than May 1st.

Goldey-Beacom College believes cost should never be a barrier to education and makes every effort to make quality private education accessible to all qualified students.  Ask about our need-based and merit-based scholarship program and other types of available financial aid programs.  For the current tuition rate, students should ask an admissions representative or refer to the Fee Rate Schedule Tuition rates typically increase each summer.

Graduation Fee

A graduation fee is required of students who petition for graduation in anticipation of completing the requirements of the program of study. This fee is applied toward the cost of the student's diploma, cap and gown, and other expenses relating to graduation. All future Registrar's Offices services are also covered by this fee. The graduation fee is nonrefundable but if the student delays completion of his program requirements, the fee will be maintained on the student's account until all requirements are fulfilled.
